Join Little Artshram and friends as we continue to plan and organize the 2011 Earth Day Parade.
Grand Traverse Earth Day Parade 2011…
Little Artshram has gathered folks and organizations together, and sponsored the Grand Traverse Earth Day Parade since 2001. Our Eday Parade mission is to design a story-telling parade, with five elemental sections. Our aim is to involve folks from Traverse City and regional communities in the creation and production of this people-powered parade! Our emphasis of creation is to weave environmental education, art-making and community engagement, into a proper gathering and celebration on the streets of downtown Traverse City.
We invite you to join others that have begun meeting with Little Artshram andt the humaNature School, talented musicians, artists and puppeteers….
This year’s theme: DECOMPOSERS!
Three rules of the Earth Day parade that guide us and keep us safe in the streets: No words, No motors, No Pets
Our planning team meets bi-weekly, on Monday evenings, through parade day on April 30th.
