Marco plays the didgeredoo in the 2007 Earth Day Parade
Little Artshram works with Rhythmic Adventures and a slew of friends and volunteers to organize and build the annual Grand Traverse Earth Day Parade with months of preparation in our Community Art Studio, beginning in January and up until the annual spring celebration in April. This year you can bring your music-making instrument and join the Earth Day Parade Band(s) at the corner of Pine and 7th streets at noon, on Saturday April 24th (bad weather date, May 1st).
Mark your calendars for our 5th annual Harvest Festival on
September 25, at our Little Artshram Community Gardens and Art-Farm Workshop, at our home-place in the Historic Barns Park. We'll be celebrating with a "Near the Barn-Dance" at the end of the season, in a family-friendly event sharing our gratitude for community gardening, community building and a summer full of events and programs.
Look for more music happenings in partnership with our friends at Porterhouse Productions, including the upcoming Summer 2010 TC mIcrobrew Fest; special events with the Earthwork Music Collective; Seth Bernard and May Erlewine and friends, and, also with our longtime friends, and drumming duo, Dede and Marc Alderman of Rhythmic Adventures.
